Check out this duo, Pincode that has buzzing a little bit over the past couple of years, especially from their joint, “What’s Your Pin Code?”.. There are back again with a new joint Briefcase which features Spaydez. Check on it. But first, peep their mini-bio:

Rexx and Chucky known as PINCODE are a Nigerian R&B, Rap and Hip African Soul group. Nigerian born and of Ibo extraction, the group was formed in 2007 after they both met while working on independent projects at a recording studio in the University where they were attending at the time.

UNIVERSITY EDUCATION
They are graduates of the University of Nigeria Nsukka with B.Sc’s in Computer science and Clinical Psychology respectively.Despite pressure from family to further their studies abroad, they opted to pursue their musical interests and started recording and music production.

MUSIC CAREER
Bravo records ( a record company based in Lagos, Nigeria and Jo’Burg, South Africa) signed PINCODE after listening to their recordings and late 2008, their first single titled Sharp Sharp was released with a video that received massive airplay and topped the Channel O Viewers Edition Chart for 3 weeks. Although, radio play in their home country was mild, they were steadily gaining buzz in Jo’Burg South Africa.

They released a late 2009 follow up single titled “Pincode” with yet another top notch video that left critics and fans alike singing along which prompted the release of their debut album titled “PINCODE FOR PREZIDENT” by CNMEDIA LTD a leading music distribution and marketing company in Nigeria.

Working with hit makers including Dr. Frabs, Wizboy, Mekoyo, Xela, Charlie X and Clef Nite, Pincode recorded over 30 songs for the album and delivered a melody-striken, soulful and groovy LP that is fast gaining recognition especially in the south south and south eastern parts of Nigeria.
