GOD’S PLAN FOR US

Dear Friends, have you ever wondered about God’s plans concerning you? Who are you? What have you come to do on earth and what purposes have you come to fulfill on earth? Where will you return to after your living on earth? What account will you give? Were you created for predestined plans? How will you know the plans of God concerning your life? The Scriptures reveal that God has designed plans for us, His plans are the best and it is a loving advanced planning. Jeremiah 29:11- “I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a futureâ€. Isaiah 14:24 – “The Lord Almighty has sworn; surely as I have planned, so it will be and as I have purposed, so it will stand.†Isaiah 14:27- “For the Lord Almighty has proposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out and who can turn it back?†This season is your manifestation season, so shall it stand. What a marvelous God! Meanwhile before we were born he has particular plans for us not to suffer, beg, steal, fall sick, or die untimely neither shall any evil fall on us. In Jeremiah 1:5, God says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you.†This is rather surprising. God knew you and me before we were born. It follows that God knows every body. He formed us. God's advanced loving and best plan is confirmed in Rom 8:29-33 where Paul says: “For those he foreknew he also pre-destined to be conformed to the image of His son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.†The same notion of foreknowledge is revealed in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, 1:3-4: “Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens, as he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and without blemish before him.†God’s plans for us began before the world was made.
The beginning of the execution of God’s plans for us is revealed in the Book of Genesis. When we read the book of Genesis, we recognize the spiritual elements that are being taught by the message. God created man in his own image. That means we are like God. He created Adam who represents man; Eve woman. He created man in his likeness, Genesis 1:27. Man has some amazing capabilities. He has the ability to create, to have a sense of justice, to intercede, to rescue, to show mercy, to forgive - these alone place him far above the animals, even the angels. Man is, surprisingly, quite Godly. Furthermore, man has the ability to have a relationship with God. Man has the ability to receive the Holy Spirit - God Himself. Finally, man is destined for immortality. There is nothing more God-like than to be immortal! The very first commandment in the Bible is “be fertile and multiplyâ€. This is soon followed by the commandment "Fill the earth and subdue it". Genesis 1:28. These are extremely important elements of God’s plan for us. They take on fresh meaning in today’s world. The earth is not yet filled and subdued. There are lots of resources and there is much unused land. God’s plan for us and the commandments that go with it are still valid.
The importance of chastity, as part of God’s plan for us, is contained in one of the Ten Commandments, “You shall not commit adultery†Ex 20. Leviticus 18 is entirely devoted to various directives on the sanctity of procreative powers. Men were ordered not to have sex with women except their own wives, in-laws, a neighbor’s wife or another male. Men and women were ordered not to have carnal relations with animals. All such defilements are an abomination. God has, in effect, decreed that all humans must be chaste. Singles must be chaste. The married must be chaste. Widows must be chaste. As a single you don’t need to fornicate or sin against God and humanity in order to satisfy your selfish interest. God wants the opposite of bad which is good in your life. He wants the best out of you; he wants light in you and also wants you to live forever. Every bad act which is sin has its wages - death. But the gift of God is eternal life- Romans 6:23. God has given us a free gift, which is life; a total package including riches, as far as God is concerned, none is poor, none came with riches. We have refused to take or acknowledge what is ours. Whatever you need, his word says call upon me anytime of your life and I will answer you. Isaiah 65:24. This will only work if you acknowledge him and also know the reason why we are living on earth. It is now for us to invest our gift of life, to do what is right. There is no gain in living in sin; we all know what the profit is. But in God, you live long. He will give you power to produce wealth - Deu.8:17, he will show you what is best for you and show you the way you should go -Isaiah 48:17. You can not just live for living sake. God has promised that he will show us the unsearchable things we don’t know about. He is able to do exceedingly what he has promised to do according to his plans and He is watching over his words to accomplish them in our lives - Jeremiah 1:12. Hebrew 6:18. Is there anything too hard for God?
GOD’S PLAN FOR YOU AS A CHILD OF GOD: God’s plan gets bigger. Humans, through Jesus Christ, become children of God. Filled with the Holy Spirit of God Himself, they fulfill the demands of chastity and generous procreativity. They multiply with joy. Also, humans possess a myriad of talents for achieving God’s plan for subduing the earth. There are workers, engineers, farmers, accountants, doctors, craftsman and scientists and people of many talents and persuasions all conceived and designed by God. Humans take pride and rejoice in fulfilling God’s plan to subdue the earth and in being one with Him. God has unsearchable things to show us concerning our life. What you need to do is to go to God in prayers and ask Him to show you His plans for your life and you will see God revealing Himself to you through His words or vision. Seek Him and you will find Him. Mathew 7:7.
Trusting God's Plans in Psalm 131
We are often overwhelmed with a certain situation because we have taken on a task that God has not called us to do. Jesus could have done many things, but He limited Himself and chose to do only His Father's will. Let's look at General David's life as he expresses it here in Psalm 131.
David was both King and General and was certainly involved in big plans.
The difference was that God asked him to join Him in His works.
What were some of these big events?
Killed Goliath and fought off Philistines
Acted as King of Israel
Big building plans (house)
Eliminate enemies
God's Plans Are the Best -Our plans are not always God's plans. He may see that it is best for us and for His cause to refuse our very best intentions, as He did in the case of David. But of one thing we may be assured, He will bless and use in the advancement of His cause those who sincerely devote themselves and all they have to His glory. If He sees it best not to grant their desires He will counterbalance the refusal by giving them tokens of His love and entrusting to them another service.
ARE YOU IN PAINS? GOD CAN MAKE POSSIBLE THE IMPOSSIBLE. Exodus 2:1-10 Moses’ mother was reunited with her baby! God used her courageous act of saving and hiding her baby to begin His plan to rescue His people from Egypt. God doesn’t need much from us to accomplish his plan for our lives. Focusing on our human predicament may paralyze us, because the situation may appear humanly impossible. But concentrating on God and His power will help us see the way out. Right now you may feel unable to see through your troubles. Focus on God, and trust Him for the way out. That is all He needs to begin His work in you. God has been doing it from generation to generation so he can never change in our time Jeremiah 32:27. He is still the same forever. James 1:17. He will do whatever you want him to do. What you need to do is to acknowledge God as your Creator, Our Father, your Best Friend, your Source of Living and you’re everything. Just confess him as your Lord and savior, it pays to serve God in truth and in spirit, He never owes any one that serves Him. He will hand over the keys of the kingdom of heaven to you right now as you confess Him Lord over your Life. Mathew 16:19 whatever you want He will give to you according to His word in Mathew 7:7, Luke 11:11, just ask you will receive. You say, “Surely, it cannot be that simple.†Yes, that simple! It is scriptural. It is God’s plan. My friend, believe on Jesus and receive Him as Savior today.
Please pray this prayer with all your heart - Dear Father, I have come to you with all my heart. I love you and I acknowledge you as my one and only true God, am sorry for every thing that has happen since I was born. I need you from now on, take charge of my whole heart, my life, direct me to your plans which you have for me and open the eyes and ears of my inner heart to hear you and see the plans you have for me. Thank you Father for your holy spirit and I pray never to go back to my earthly world because I now know that I am just an ambassador on earth and a citizen of heaven. (2 Corinthian 5:20). Thank you father for forgiving me and for giving me your Holy Spirit. I pray never to go back to the World because I now know that I am only an ambassador on earth and a citizen of heaven and also thank you for your big plans in my life Amen.
Congratulations, if you have just prayed these prayers. God is the God of Possibilities; he will make every impossible situation to be possible in Jesus name. Mark 6:30-44. You are now a new creature. The only map on earth is the Bible; just as we have a remote control in any electronic device that is how God created us with his word. Please apply it daily, so you could function well. God bless you.
God essentially says 'â€The plan for life and creation is my plan.†If His plan is not perfectly clear yet for you, read this tract over and over, without laying it down, until you understand it. Your soul is worth more than the entire world. “For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul?†(Mark 8:36).
Be sure you are saved. If you lose your soul, you miss Heaven and lose all. Please! Let God save you this very moment.
God’s power will save you, keep you saved and enable you to live a victorious Christian life. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it†(1 Corinthians 10:13).
Do not trust your feelings. They change. Stand on God’s promises. They never change. After you are saved, there are three things to practice daily for spiritual growth:
• Pray -- you talk to God.
• Read your Bible -- God talks to you.
• Witness -- you talk for God.
“Whosoever therefore shall confess [testify of] Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven†(Matthew 10:32).
You should be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ as a public testimony of your salvation, and then unite with a Bible-believing church without delay or you can worship with us in Winners Chapel, 97 Atamu Street, Calabar. “Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord . . . .†(2 Timothy 1:8)
