I AM CHRIS HART, i hail from Delta State, Nigeria Born to a family of six, third in that family, am a Graphic IT Consultant here in FCT Abuja, Nigeria. i am exploring my needs to help the poor among us, help them to build the Chris hart foundation................. Chris Hart Foundation, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) born out of dream of genuine concern of the declining socio-economic values in our society and the need to interact and encourage the public on the need to be of good help to those whose are victimized with suffering, hunger, thirsty and naked in our society, it is my dream to see that our streets are free from children, youth (leaders of tomorrow) and aged ones who are seen littering our society with nobody to help them. To help the less privileged and orphans in our society is my major desires. The NGO is a brain child of a mother and a nurse, and its members would be drawn able professional men and women who have genuine desire to assist the less privileged and orphans in our society and to help address the issue of public rejection of the poor in our society. Chris Hart Foundation shall see to the Educational welfare our children, those who can’t go to school, those children whose parent died of HIV/AIDS, or those who parents are aged and skill training for cripple and aged persons within our reach. It would be the duty and responsibility of the Chris Hart Foundation, to fish for the poor, aged ones and the less privileged in our society. Our motto: shall be”FISHING FOR THE POOR AMONG US” As part of our educational campaign, we would have a forum where Youths would be educated to help those around them, we shall work hand in hand with every year batch of NYSC Corp members in promoting needs to have a good and healthy attention to the less privileged among us. In this regards they would be an orientation camp to teach and educate young the privileged persons in matters of community leaving, sharing and good norms. We welcome all persons regardless of race, tribe, religion or political persuasions, and would highly appreciate your support for our activities as we intend to make CHRIS HART FOUNDATION not a money making NGO but an NGO that would really put smiles, on the faces of the less privileged. The foundation shall not just be for the poor it shall fight back justice for the aged ones, those who gave up their lives to see that our nation could stand, pensioners, displace persons. Your support will be highly rewarded by God as found in Proverbs 25 vs 21 if your enemy is hungry give him food to eat and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; CHRIS HART FOUNDATION is guided by the Biblical verses of Isaiah 58:7-11 which says ...."Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter, when you see the naked, to cloth him and not to run away from your own flesh and blood... And if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like noonday. The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail". ………….OUR MISSION……………… Our mission is fulfilling Matthew 26:11 - "You always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me." God Calls His People to Be Actively Involved in Ministry to Those in Need. Luke 3:11 - "He replied to them, 'The one who has two shirts must share with someone who has none, and the one who has food must do the same.'" Galatians 2:10 - "[They asked] only that we would remember the poor, which I made every effort to do." CHRIS HART FOUNDATION is that “Samuel” saying lord speak your servants is listening, it is our sole aim to clothe that naked man on the street, to care for the aged person waiting for you and I to give him/her water to drink to satisfy thirsts, to educate that young child begging on the street. …………..VISION STATEMENT…………… To become a formidable partner in the fight against injustice bore on the poor in our society, the havoc done to aged persons and even the children who are youth and leaders of tomorrow. CHRIS HARTFOUNDATION, a powerful change agent in reducing the poverty rates, stigmatization of the less privileged and discrimination by providing community care and support system. To have a well mapped out skill acquisition Training/Rehabilitation Centre for destitute and to enhance nutritional status of the needy/physically challenged persons in our society. ………………OUR OBJECTIVES………………. Declining socio-economic values put untold hardship on the less-privileged and orphans. CHRIS HART FOUNDATION offers various forms of care and support services to all these people. They meet to encourage one another, share experiences as to how best to manage their various problems. Many of them are given financial support and CHRIS HART FOUNDATION takes care of children either orphaned or physically challenged aged people and displaced persons. Guided by our mission which is to provide every child a better future, and vision for the good of our society, where all children are loved and have access to quality education and their values (based on the convention on the Rights of the Child) that:  The Welfare of children concerns all citizens  Education is the most precious gift that can be given to Children.  Children MUST be protected from all forms of abuse.  Children have rights.  They should be given the opportunity to participate in matters concerning them.  Working hand in hand with the aged person’s on our society. By taking care of their medical needs, food and shelter, vocational training to keep them busy. The good nature of the people working with and for the children, together with the strong team spirit and appropriate training has been essential in the Management and success of projects. CHRIS HART FOUNDATION welcomes donations from generous individuals, Donor Agencies, Corporate Organizations, Charity Organizations and all who are compassionate enough to see the need to institute a change in our world.
