Akapo is a renowned Music Professional/consultant, he runs a highly effective and the most patronized music institute in Nigeria (Tenstrings Music Institute, with two study centers in Lagos - Festac and Surulere).
The institute offers professional music training, as well as other professional music services . The institute also organizes, several music industry events, one of which is the annual Nigeria Music Conference.
He worked with Wale Adenuga Productions-PEFTI-as a resource person in charge of music training-voice, instruments & choir works. He is the President and Music Director of Eclipse Band. He is the author of the best seller: ESSENTIALS OF SINGING and the 3 Music Protools.
He was a member panel of judges at the World Music Festival, Norway 2005. He is humorous and fun-loving. He is a prolific songwriter and music producer. He plays the piano and guitar professionally.
